Our story

The Diami business story follows a familiar route taken by many of Australian family businesses where through the entrepreneurial success of a hard work and determination a little business with no staff apart from a migrant couple and their children overtime become market leaders.

For over 25yrs Diami has been offering quality products which transform spaces and inspire people to work better. Diami is responsible for some of the industry’s most recognisable products and can be found in countless workplaces, schools and healthcare facilities across Australia and New Zealand. Headquartered in Ingleburn NSW with sales offices and resellers across Australia and New Zealand Diami is passionate about offering their network of resellers and customers world class products and customer service.

To ensure our customers feel assured that our products and services will meet their various quality requirements, we utilise several quality performance measurements such as ISO 9001 certification, mechanical testing of furniture for safety and durability and in house pre dispatch quality checks, In addition various Diami components are tested by independent organizations such as the Australasian Furnishing Research and Development Institute (AFRDI ), SGS, CATAS to local and international quality standards.

Capacity and our Environment

No requirement is too big or too small. Our capacity to design, manufacture, distribute and install high quality product to match our customer needs is supported with a can do manufacturing culture that we have embraced since the day we started. Meticulous research has gone into the design, materials used, safety and comfort level of each product we sell.

Precision engineering, robotic wood machining, foam shaping, fabric and leather cutting and sewing is done in house allowing us to control quality, cost and timing of the products we make locally. Diami limits the environmental impact associated with the commercial furniture and fit out by controlling in product design, procurement, manufacturing, production, installation and disposal and with inhouse recycling systems of the waste we create.

We also incorporate environmental health and safety programs to ensure our business protects the health and safety of our employees, customers, resellers, local communities and our environment. Download our Environmental policy here
